Job Summary
Role
This unionized role provides excellent customer service to library users, registers library users and provides basic general information for new and renewing borrowers, answers circulation and directional questions and refers questions, processes materials from other libraries and institutions for shipping, shelves material, and pulls Holds for patrons. The Circulation Assistant has an active role on the floor of the branch that fosters and maintains a positive working relationship with the Branch Supervisor, library staff, the public, and other organizations.
Education and Experience
Our ideal candidate must have:
- High school diploma;
- One year of experience providing customer service to the general public.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Compensation
The hourly rate for this unionized position starts at $30.36
