Fleming is located in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes Region in Central Ontario, Traditional Mississauga Anishinaabe Territory and covered by the Williams Treaties,1923... a beautiful place to live and work, surrounded by natural beauty and a mere 90 minutes north-east of Toronto. The College’s 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, including hundreds of international students from countries around the world, attend at campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Haliburton and Cobourg. Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses.

This position provides library liaison services, primarily, to School of Environmental & Natural Resource Sciences (SENRS) situated at the Frost Campus. These services include functioning as a point of contact for specified schools, delivering classroom presentations and workshops on information literacy topics, managing supporting collections, and developing/maintaining online subject guides and related digital learning objects. This position also has a lead role in faculty engagement, outreach/marketing, and coordinating library programming and events and is responsible for the provision of library services including reference, consultation, and research support for curricular and corporate projects. Additionally, this position has specific collection responsibilities for the development, assessment, and maintenance of the periodical collections at Frost and Haliburton campuses.
Work Schedules:
This position has been designated as on-campus and is expected on-site 100% of the time.
This is a temporary position with an expected date of February 2025 to August 2026.
