Casual Public Services Assistant

Surrey Libraries invites applications for the position of Casual Public Services Assistant. The Public Services Assistant performs a variety of duties related to providing exceptional customer service to maintain efficient, welcoming and inclusive library operations. This position reports to the Manager, Circulation Services.
Hours of work vary and availability to work evenings, weekends and peak vacation times is required (spring break, summer break, winter break and the days preceding/ following statutory holidays). This is an on-call casual position, working up to 35 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to travel to all 10 branches.
Start date: February 2025

Rate of pay: $30.37 - $31.34 per hour.
