Are you a digital-content professional who is passionate about connecting with supporting the community to create, share, discover, and celebrate Indigenous stories? Are you motivated by working to improve indigenous data sovereignty and user experiences with web-content sharing platforms? Edmonton Public Library is looking for a confident and dynamic Voices of the Land Coordinator to advance provincial Indigenous Digital Storytelling Initiatives. This platform was designed as a safe-keeping place and is the culmination of collaboration with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community members.
As a member of our collaborative Collection Management & Access team, you will support the continuous improvement and day-to-day administration of the https://voicesoftheland.org/ digital content platform, focusing on the end-user experience.
The successful candidate will have strong connection to Indigenous communities in Alberta and be a training ambassador who effectively facilitates platform user training sessions for members of Indigenous communities and library staff across Alberta. You will mentor and support participants in sharing their stories and using the platform effectively.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong customer service approach, experience working with and consulting diverse communities and demonstrated superior communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Pay Band:
$35.43 - $45.23 per hour*
*Approximately $64,745 - $82,651 per annum based on a 35 hour work week.
Shift differential may apply in accordance with the terms and conditions of the CSU 52 Collective Agreement.
