Library Assessment Coordinator (Tenure-Track) Regina , SK

The Library Assessment Coordinator will work under the general direction of the Associate Dean (Academic) to lead the integration of regular assessment practices into the culture of the organization, fostering a shared vision toward assessment goals. The incumbent will work collaboratively with a team of librarians and library staff to provide a range of library services, including reference and instruction to the Department of Psychology, and the Faculty Kinesiology and Health Studies.

Requirements: A Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited program or equivalent, along with 3 to 5 years professional experience in assessment work. The applicant must have a demonstrated knowledge of processes and software tools for analyzing, drawing insight from, reporting, and/or visualizing data, along with a demonstrated knowledge of current theories, trends, standards, and practices of assessment in academic libraries. The applicant must also have demonstrated experience compiling and reporting academic library statistics, articulating the value of academic libraries through quantitative and/or qualitative assessment methodologies, experience in providing training and instruction, and demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills.

Compensation

$71,365 (Librarian I base) to $131,319 (Librarian IV ceiling). Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic/professional qualifications.
