Parkland Regional Library System seeks a librarian who is passionate about developing and supporting public library services in a regional library system setting. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills who seeks to contribute to the vitality of rural and urban communities in central Alberta.
As a consulting services librarian you work directly with public library staff and library boards, develop and deliver training, contribute to local and regional collection development, support public services and programming, and provide expert consultation on public library policy and management. You adapt your workflow to respond to the needs of members as they arise, while assessing priorities and meeting deadlines. Travel and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends in service to member libraries is essential.

Salary range: $64,215- $90,734 per annum with an excellent benefits package.
