Toronto College of Dental Hygiene is seeking full time Librarian to assist and support dental hygiene students in the program. This is a full time onsite position in North York, Ontario Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, the individual must have some flexibility with the hours Monday to Friday at certain times of the semester.
The individual will be responsible for supporting the college as required to update the library page, find suitable resources for the online library, and assist students in finding research articles.
Review and assist the college research Canadian references for different courses.
Ensure that the course outlines are updated on a regular basis.
In addition, the individual will assist the Program Director with day to day functions of the college.
Ensure that all the assessments are posted when necessary.
Review tests with students that would like to see them.
Post regularly on social media college events.
Organize various social events for students to participate such as study groups.
Create flyers for college events.
Organize charity holiday food drives.
Assist with organizing community placements and support community sponsors.
The individual must have completed a Master of Library Studies.
The individual must have training in Educational Methodoloy.
