Idea Exchange is seeking a talented Training Specialist for our Queen’s Square location. Does this sound like you? Read on!
As a Training Specialist you will be responsible for the identification, planning, delivery and evaluation of staff training in areas such as new technologies, web services and reference and circulation services.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing and updating documentation and training materials in a variety of formats, including video, online and paper formats. You will also be part of our innovative Information Services team, providing service to the public.
To be qualified for the role, you should have a Masters of Library and Information Science and 2 years’ experience working in a library setting is required.
This is a full time contract position from starting in October 2017 until October 2018, where you will work approximately 70 hours in a bi-weekly period. The position may require work from multiple branch locations within Cambridge. Evening and weekend work is required.
