The Learning & Engagement division provides core library services for SFU students and faculty, including research help services and general library instruction. Team members in L&E work closely together and with others in the library to support development of information literacy skills and to contribute to a rich student experience within and outside the classroom. While L&E offices are based in WAC Bennett Library on Burnaby campus, services are delivered on all three SFU campuses and virtually.
About the Role
Responds to inquiries from patrons of the Learning and Instructional Services Division in person and online using Library resources including guides and discovery tools developed by Librarians. Assists Librarians with the coordination, delivery and promotion of general library instruction sessions and orientation events.
Qualifications
High school graduation and two years of post-secondary education or formal certificate/diploma program equivalent. Library Technician Diploma. 4 years of minimum experience. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
