We are currently recruiting for a Branch Access Services Manager to work with Office of University Librarian, Library for this exciting opportunity.

In this role, you will manage access & facilities services in the Leslie Frost, Peter F. Bronfman and Steacie Science & Engineering Libraries. In addition to and in collaboration with the Scott Access Services Manager and the Director of Learning Commons and Reference Services, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination of reference, circulation (including course reserve and resource sharing) services within the branches ensuring best practices and adopting principles of the User Experience (Ux) and Universal Design whenever feasible. In collaboration with the Facilities Manager, is responsible for the coordination of facilities services within the branch libraries, including study room booking, food/drink and ‘emergency’ policies/procedures.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

A University degree and/or advanced certification in human resources. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess minimum 5 years’ management and supervisory experience in a unionized environment; budget planning and forecasting abilities; customer service experience; successful experience with project management; organizational change and team leadership; demonstrated organizational, training, and decision-making abilities; Library experience will be an asset.
