The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Manager of Technology and Collections.
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Manager of Technology and Collections is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing technology throughout the Library as well as overseeing the development and maintenance of library collections by managing the Technical Services Department.
Key supervisory responsibilities include: participating in staff hiring; training and supervision of the Collections Librarian and Technical Services staff; recruiting, selection, training, and supervision of volunteers; library technology including computers and servers; special projects as assigned.
Please note this position may require split shifts, afternoon/evening work, Saturday and Sunday work. It is understood that shift requirements may change due to operational requirements.
